Where it all started
Our story began in 2017 with a chance meeting and a first date that turned into something special. Through long-distance, busy schedules and big milestones, we’ve grown stronger together.
Here’s our love story!
Nick and Aimée’s story kicked off in the summer of 2017 when fate (and a mutual friend’s going-away party) brought them together. Picture this: a post-high-school celebration, and Nick, wasting no time, strikes up a conversation with Aimée and casually suggests they exchange Snapchats—because, let’s be honest, that was peak 2017 flirting. Fast forward a few months to Nick’s birthday. It was a Thursday, his friends were all busy, and he was about to have a solo celebration.
But Aimée, who believes birthdays are a big deal, wasn’t about to let that happen. She invited Nick to Latino Night with her sister Aimar and some friends. That night wasn’t just fun—it was pivotal. By the end of it, Nick had asked Aimée out on their first official date. By the time Halloween came around, they were officially inseparable—spending every day together for the next two years.
Over the years, life threw some challenges their way, but Nick and Aimée handled it like pros. Even with different cities and packed schedules, they stayed committed—to each other and their dreams. Nick earned his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from the University of Houston, while Aimée graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Nutrition and a minor in Art.
Then, Nick leveled up, pursuing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at UTEP, and he graduates just one week before the wedding!
Meanwhile, Aimée started working toward her Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Texas A&M in Dallas. Soon, it’ll be Dr. and Dr.—how cool is that?
Nick and Aimée have been each other's biggest cheerleaders through every late-night study session, big move, and milestone. Now, they’re ready to tackle the ultimate adventure: marriage!
